A TEAM OF PASSIONATE ENTREPRENEURIAL-MINDED INDIVIDUALS
At 55, his motto is to provide the best technological solutions to SMEs with 100% customer satisfaction and to anticipate new market trends. Energetic and passionate, he brings his vision and manages a team with kindness, over 70% of whom have been with the company for more than 5 years.
Background:
His accounting studies made him realize he was on the wrong path. After leaving the military, he joined a computer manufacturer dedicated to major accounts like IBM. In a constantly evolving technical environment, he gained expertise in sales (from sales representative to sales director). He quickly foresaw upcoming innovations (local networks and the birth of the internet). Always wanting to be independent, he ventured into his first business, “Network Print System,” created with Raoul Pinto in 1992. For several years, he immersed himself in the evolution of network systems, virtualization, and IT outsourcing for major accounts. This proved successful as he merged with a large group in 2000. Seizing the internet boom, he founded his second company, “Net on Web,” specialized in automated network management tools and diagnostic platforms. His experience with large corporations and their operations inspired him to tailor his IT outsourcing services to SMEs. Few IT companies effectively advised them, so he co-founded Nowteam in 2003 (still with Raoul) to provide SMEs with IT outsourcing services. In 2006, the company opened its first Datacenter and has experienced an average growth of 30% over the last 5 years. Now rebranded as Nowbrains Group, the company consists of 4 commercial entities, advising SMEs comprehensively on IT and digital dimensions.
My note :
« It’s easier to advise what we master! Like our clients, we’ve gone through all growth stages. Thanks to our experiences, we are best positioned to assist our clients with all IT and digital challenges. »
He knows every aspect of the company like the back of his hand. With talent, he understands, anticipates, and orchestrates the overall organization of the Group with cheerfulness and friendliness. He also brings all his expertise to our clients, who recognize him as a top-notch professional.
Background :
Florent has always been drawn to computers. Inspired greatly by the robotic competitions organized during his youth by the TV show E=M6, he naturally pursued studies in new technologies (telecom and then systems and networks). He had his first interview with Nowteam and joined as a support technician in 2004. His natural determination, curiosity, work ethic, and the trust placed in him by the founders allowed him to climb the ranks over time. He worked on various projects/functions (contributing to the creation of the data center infrastructure, pre-sales, etc.) and quickly took on the responsibility of the technical team. His structured role, broad perspective, and insights were crucial in the company’s growth. His guiding principle: fully understand a client’s inner workings to advise them effectively. For 16 years, he enriches himself every day, discovering, learning, and experiencing each day differently. Driven by Lean management philosophy, he focuses on evolving teams while working on operational optimization. He places great importance on constantly enriching his teams. His constant pursuit of customer satisfaction (internal and external), his agility, and adaptability are undeniable keys to the Group’s success.
Mon petit mot :
« A 2% turnover in our teams over the last 5 years. A truly exciting challenge that reminds us every day that the sum of skills is what drives our success and service quality.”
Highly technical, he also possesses a very humane managerial approach and advocates for empowerment. Based in Nice, he heads the R&D department. He provides structure to the Group and takes pleasure in training new recruits.
Background :
Trained as an electronics engineer, he has always been drawn to product design. For his first job, he joined the robotics laboratory of Jeumont Schneider. There, he calibrated and tested products, producing handling systems (transport robots) for industrial companies, hospitals, and aerospace. After a successful mission where he solved a problem estimated to take a month in just a week, he was entrusted with larger tasks, notably at Procter and Gamble. After three years, he left the company, which had been acquired, to join MPI Technologie. Still in product design but in computing (creating integrated microprocessors), he delved into IBM’s world for major accounts. He spent three years in the laboratory’s R&D and, during a client mission, discovered his passion for interaction, relationships, and the satisfaction of providing the right solution. He also met Joel, with whom he shared business approaches, vision, and human values. The trust they built during their shared experience at MPI led to a partnership, creating Network Print System (NPS). This venture allowed him to leave the laboratory, interact with clients, and deepen his passion for active listening. Upon NPS’s sale, he retained the Printing aspect before rejoining Joel. Together, they founded NetOnWeb, which pivoted to become Nowteam in 2003 with a simple idea: providing IT services to SMEs with quality and dedication equivalent to that given to major accounts at adapted rates. Since then, Raoul works daily to ensure each client receives the same level of service and excellence as a large corporation.
My note :
« A comfortable and happy team enables us to have very satisfied clients as well. Our DNA: attentive listening to provide the right solution and always being available for our clients. »
Close to his teams, he advocates for participatory management. He actively contributes to the development of the Group’s new offerings with his strategic, business, and technical vision. Analytical, he brings valuable thought and organizational structuring.
Background :
After studying business management and earning a Master’s degree in marketing, he spent 4 years in the Caribbean, developing a new business around Sage solutions. Leading the sales development, he became an expert in selling management solutions for SMEs. A avid traveler, he embarked on a year-long journey through South America, exploring new cultures before returning to Lyon to settle down. There, he joined a company specializing in TPE/PME management software, managing the profit center for 5 years. While his business grew steadily, he decided to take on a new challenge with “Nowteam.” Captivated by the team and the project, he has been a member of the executive committee and actively involved in the company’s development for 10 years, in addition to his role as the head of the Lyon office.
My note :
« A company is a wonderful adventure! Like traveling, it’s about encountering and discovering, except that one must also anticipate. We can say we have a good compass as we are always pioneering in our market, having multiplied our revenue by 15. »
Always in tune with SMEs’ concerns, Christophe understands a company’s IT needs better than anyone else. His exceptional listening and communication skills are recognized by both our teams and clients. He can transform a problem into a concrete and tailored solution for the client.
Background :
Commerce has always been in Christophe’s blood. He naturally pursued his studies in this field, which always seemed fluid and obvious to him. It was through a circuitous route that he discovered the world of IT. For his first job, he joined a computer hardware store where he worked for 6 years. There, he learned the intricacies of the trade, honed his technical skills, and, most importantly, developed a very active listening ability to offer suitable IT equipment to both individuals and professionals. He later joined an IT service provider for 5 years, excelling as a sales manager. Under his drive, he also developed another business selling websites to SMEs. His desire to be part of an adventure led him to leave this company and join Nowteam in 2004. It was purely by chance that he crossed paths with Joel. Their shared vision of business, management, and their shared values (curiosity, trust, team empowerment) led to a successful and enduring partnership for over 16 years.
My note :
“Finally, a team that grows and develops thanks to shared skills, curiosity, a constant thirst for learning, and, most importantly, is the key to our success today.”
She manages much more than the company’s administration. Acting as both HR and teams’ confidante, she’s also a high-level manager. Over the past 6 years, her role has evolved in line with the company’s growth, making her a trusted pillar. Her frankness and holistic understanding of teams provide founders with an appreciated and relevant perspective.
Background :
She has always been immersed in the world of entrepreneurship and SMEs. Thanks to her father’s success in business, starting from scratch in the field of mechanics, she assisted him from the age of 16 and later took on a leadership role in the family business. As the industry was highly technical, she decided to leave the family business and pursue studies in management. With a Spanish background, her dual culture and knowledge of SMEs allowed her to join an IT services company where she managed the Spanish market for 5 years. Following an acquisition, she chose to embark on a new adventure and joined a small SME that aligned with her values: Nowteam. There, she quickly demonstrated her skills, strong team engagement, and versatility. A genuine trust developed between her and the founders.
My note :
«In the group, satisfaction from a job well done is paramount. One of our other strengths is having a close-knit and dedicated team. We share these values, and that’s what sets us apart.»
For the past 10 years within the Group, he has initially been intimately involved with clients, providing them with tailored and practical technical solutions. Now, leading the technical team at the main Lyon agency, he reconciles client needs, team dynamics, and creative ideas.
Background :
This longstanding figure within the Group, who once dreamed of becoming a chef, found his way into IT by following his instincts. After completing a science-oriented high school diploma and trying his hand at university-level mathematics, he worked for 24 months in plastics as a skilled laborer. During this time, he quickly realized the potential of the IT industry and returned to his studies in management informatics. He gained experience by working for several years in a computer repair company for individuals and businesses and later for a specialized dental IT company. Subsequently, he joined a software sales company specializing in corporate management systems as an infrastructure manager. Through this experience, he crossed paths with Sébastien, who had been with the Group for over a year and introduced Emeric to the company.
My note :
“The internal mobility and continuous learning advocated by the Group foster great diversity and a constant interest in our professions. Moreover, understanding the importance of taking the time to execute a project properly and deriving satisfaction from a job well done is part of our DNA.»
Both technical and business-minded, he navigates the intricacies of Gantt charts and project planning like no other, speaking the language of developers as well as that of marketing, and stays abreast of the latest IT trends. Phetdavanh brings his broad perspective, business acumen, and deep technical expertise to all of the group’s projects.
Background :
Even as a teenager, while developing small games, he envisioned becoming a doctor. However, he ultimately chose the path of computer science, pursuing his studies in the field. In 2001, he began his professional career in an IT outsourcing firm specializing in the public sector. His rigorous approach and the trust placed in him by the executives allowed him to handle diverse roles (project management, development, team management, etc.). Over 8 years, Phetdavanh continued to learn and enrich his experience by working with clients in various sectors such as banking, insurance, and multimedia. In 2009, he transitioned into the world of e-commerce by joining one of the leaders in private sales. There, he undertook the redesign of an entire information system, covering and overseeing all cross-functional aspects like billing, logistics, and inventory management. In 2012, he joined one of the major players in children’s and women’s fashion, managing the development of a new ERP, mobile applications, and e-commerce websites with a team of 10 developers. Over 10 years, he honed his expertise in e-commerce. Until a new challenge presented itself at Nowleads (formerly Smartiiz), where he co-managed the organization alongside the sales director, forming a complementary and efficient duo. For the past 2 years, he has significantly contributed to the technical structuring of the group and its clients.
My note :
«I’ve noticed a high level of consideration from the teams, which I had never seen before. The rapid responsiveness of managers and teams, coupled with their attentiveness, is highly commendable. The trust placed in us is real, and the support from the teams is very humane. »

Background :
With a Master’s degree in marketing and sales strategies and three years of experience in a Parisian web agency, Vincent embarked on a developer training program with Batch 12 at Le Wagon in 2015. However, he preferred the business dimension. From this experience, he retained two essential things: understanding algorithmic logic to communicate effectively with developers and the ability to independently seek solutions to his needs. In the same year, he seized the opportunity to join a small project team (the initial IAKAA team) within the NowBrains Group. Quickly, he directed the team toward a digital marketing project with a pragmatic vision, leading to the creation of NowLeads agency (originally Smartiiz). Initially responsible for business development, he took charge of the team and production in 2018. Vincent developed the original SMV method (Minimum Viable Strategy), earning the agency a strong reputation in the B2B Inbound Marketing world. Applying this method to the group’s needs supported its rapid growth, bringing in 70% of new business each year. He also contributed to the emergence of NowDSI by engaging with early clients. In 2021, the group’s management offered him the opportunity to reorganize the marketing team and assume its leadership. After 7 years with the group, he nurtures significant ambitions for the future of NowBrains and impactful CSR projects.

A curious autodidact, he willingly tackles the challenges presented to him. His diverse background and experience make him adaptable to various environments, providing him with the necessary perspective to implement relevant solutions while collaborating with teams from different cultures and philosophies.
Background :
Franco-Swiss, he accompanied his parents to Tanzania, Switzerland, and China, developing a love for languages and different cultures. During his 3 years in China as a high school student at the French School of Shanghai, he learned programming and DIY projects at the HackerSpace in Shanghai (XinCheJian). He quickly established a network of engineers and entrepreneurs who offered him missions and jobs to finance his hobby. He decided to co-found a second French-speaking HackerSpace (LeTechLab) focused on repurposing and transforming recovered hardware (toys, drones, electric scooters, etc.). After completing his “ES” baccalaureate, he left China. Coming from an entrepreneurial background, he was encouraged to attend business school for its generalist approach, aligning with his BAC. He moved to Norway and completed the first year of his BBA at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo but regretted his choice of studies. Determined to pursue computer science, he moved to Paris and retrained as an Apple ecosystem system administrator. Finding the sector less stimulating, he wanted to shift to Windows or Linux architecture, leading to his recruitment at NowBrains as a multi-level technician. In his free time, he continued working on DIY projects, including an NLP STT/TTS project on Raspberry Pi for an IoT assistant featuring the famous voice of GlaD_OS from the Portal series. His interests led him to evolve within the company in an emerging field aligned with his aspirations: NLP and Machine Learning.
My note :
«It’s a true asset to work in a company that encourages reflection and innovation of established processes. We are in constant evolution and we are committed to achieving our ambitions.»

At the age of 30, he is determined to promote the group in France and across Europe. Inspired by major successes, he applies proven strategies and excels in complex situations, adapting to his counterparts to find solutions.
My note :
« The world of tomorrow is yet to be invented; it’s our duty to work on it and evolve our activities to ensure their sustainability. »
Our DNA: attentive listening to provide the right solution and always being available for our clients »
We can say we have a good compass as we are always pioneering in our market, having multiplied our revenue by 15.»
Always in tune with SMEs’ concerns, Christophe understands a company’s IT needs better than anyone else.

My note :
« I’ve noticed a high level of consideration from the teams, which I had never seen before. The rapid responsiveness of managers and teams, coupled with their attentiveness, is highly commendable. The trust placed in us is real, and the support from the teams is very humane. »
